Task Force Baum had the M3A1 of the S-2 Section 10th Armored Infantry Battalion with a powerful  morse-type radio to stay in contact with the 4th US Armored Division. Additional there was a M5A1 Tank as Command Tank for the Command Section, this vehicle was a "gift" from Lieutenant-Colonel Creighton W. Abrams
