Signal Training and Replacement Battalion 10

 

Together with schwere Panzerjägerabteilung 251, Nachrichten Ausbildungs- und Ersatzabteilung 10 (Signal Training and Replacement Battalion from Schwabach/Nürnberg) was ordered to Hammelburg by railroad transport.

 

 

The outfit belonged to the so called "Leuthen"-troops, which had to form the 413. Infanteriedivision in case of alert. The Battalion had to defend the town of Hammelburg together with the local Volkssturm.
